Casey Beise

LCSW, CMFT

**NOW OFFERING TELEHEALTH IN GEORGIA, NORTH CAROLINA AND VIRGINIA**

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified in Marriage and Family Therapy (CMFT).  I am licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the state of North Carolina, and in the state of Georgia. I am currently based in North Carolina and can see, via Telehealth, clients in GA, NC or in VA.

I have worked with diverse populations of children, adolescents, families, and adults experiencing symptoms of anxiety, emotion regulation issues, mood disorders, anger, oppositional behavior, pathological demand avoidance (PDA), self-harming behaviors, depression, parent-child relational problems, trauma related issues, and other challenging life stressors. I utilize a family systems and strengths-based therapeutic approach while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy and other evidenced-based therapeutic techniques.

As someone who has spent their whole life in athletics, I have confidence in the power of teamwork.  Each individual impacts the success of the team, just as the team impacts the success of the individual.  I believe families work the same. I am passionate about supporting and empowering individuals and families to utilize their strengths and build skills to overcome life’s stressors and reach their goals.  My goal is to create a safe and fun therapeutic environment that cultivates growth.
